Job Details:
1.0 FTE; 40 hours/week - eligible for benefits
Shift:
Rotating day, evening shifts. Pharmacists work every 4th weekend and holidays on a rotation. Duties & Responsibilities Provides drug information services by responding to questions regarding medication compatibilities, adverse drug events, regimens, dosing, interactions, storage and disposal, compounding, therapeutic uses of medications and pharmaceutical supplies in a timely manner; using a systematic approach to effectively searching, retrieving, and evaluating the literature and appropriately communicating and applying the information to the patient care situation; and assisting with the development, maintenance, and implementation of hospital and department policy and procedures related to medication use, storage, restrictions, and administration. Sustains and implements quality and safety initiatives and practices in the department and throughout the hospital. Reports adverse drug events and medication variances using the hospital variance reporting program (QSRS). Sustains clinical pharmacy services throughout the organization by providing pharmaceutical care for pediatric patients of all age ranges through participation in multi-disciplinary team rounds and/or care, emergency response, education, guidance, interpretation and analysis of medication related therapeutic issues; documenting pharmaceutical interventions according to departmental standards; performing therapeutic drug monitoring and disease outcome analysis; and timely verification of medication orders in an electronic health record system. Participate in general pharmacy operations throughout the organization through appropriate medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory control. Provides oversight to pharmacy technicians, interns, residents, and students as needed. Minimum Qualifications Degrees BS in Pharmacy Doctorate of Pharmacy Area of Study Not applicable

Equivalency Not Applicable Licenses & Certifications Basic Life Support Pharmacist Additional Requirements State of Colorado Pharmacist License Salary Information Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $121,394.93 to $182,092.39 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
