Job Summary The PACER Lab (the Laboratory for the Psychological Analysis of Cognition, Emotion, and Reward) at Purdue University (
PI:
Dan Foti) is seeking a full-time research technician to support data collection for a grant-funded study focused on the associations between environmental exposure to PFAS, brain functioning, and mental health symptoms.
Responsibilities Include:
Help day-to-day lab operations including recruitment and scheduling. Management of clinical, EEG, and cognitive data. In-person data collection which can include any combination of clinical, cognitive, and neurophysiological assessments. Assisting the lab director with volunteer training. Conduct mentored or independent research is desired.

What We're Looking For:
Required:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field. At least 3 months of experience in a research lab.
Skills Needed:
Commitment to supporting an inclusive laboratory environment. Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism as a collegial team member. Ability to work as part of a team and train others. Strong organizational and time management skills with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. Helpful:
Experience working with human subjects. Familiarity with EEG/ERP or cognitive data. Experience with online data collection in REDCap, Qualtrics, or similar platform. Experience with data management in SPSS, Excel.
