This opportunity offers critical hands-on experience with inpatient pharmacy operations and clinical medication management in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Schedule:

Position 1: Days, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM Position 2: Days/Evenings, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM Responsibilities include verifying medication orders using Cerner Meds Manager, managing medication distribution through Pyxis and Pharmacy Keeper systems, preparing intravenous (IV) medications, and ensuring the safe administration of hospital-based medications such as IV antibiotics, anticoagulants, and electrolytes. This role requires strong familiarity with inpatient pharmacy workflows, especially in hospital distribution services and IV room preparation.

Desired Qualifications:

Proficiency in Cerner EMR and Cerner Meds Manager order verification processes Experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment Comfortable handling hospital-based medications, including IV formulations New graduates are welcome if they have hands-on experience with Cerner order verification Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible This position is ideal for pharmacists seeking focused clinical inpatient experience in a supportive hospital environment.
