Job Description

About the job : As a Clinical Trainee , under the treatment supervision of a licensed mental health professional/Treatment Supervisor or Treatment Director, provides a client with client education, rehabilitative mental health services, diagnostic assessments, functional assessments, level of care assessments, and treatment plans. Salary is $62400 per year. Essential job responsibilities include, but not limited to: Provide direction to mental health behavioral aides and mental health rehabilitation workers. Attend weekly treatment meetings on-site. Assist with coordination of admissions, facilitate treatment groups and individual meetings with persons served, and provide support to maintain treatment services, such as support in the development of individual treatment plans, individual abuse prevention plans, and other treatment services provided under governing authorities.
Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional, and participating in a practicum or internship with the license holder through the individual's graduate program; or has completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional and who is in compliance with the requirements of the applicable health-related licensing board, including requirements for supervised practice.
