Customer-Focused Sales Associate Bahle's in Suttons Bay is a resort store selling better men's and women's apparel and accessories. Bahle's began in 1876 selling dry goods, fabrics and anything else that was a "need" back then. Today we are focused on better men's, women's and children's clothing accessories. We are a unique store since it has stayed in the same family for over 140 years, currently the 4th and 5th generations. We believe in quality merchandise, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate would be very positive and friendly with the ability to see what needs to be done and accomplish it. Also, they need to be able to move fast and handle a variety of situations to the standards of the store. Our Sales Associates Deliver professional service and build sales by styling and wardrobing each customer based on their needs Meet store sales goal by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer Maintains an awareness of customers to both increase service levels and reduce security risks Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, an all other duties as directed by Management Connect with multiple customers at a time, making things quick and easy. Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner Provide honest and confident feedback to customers regarding merchandise style and fit Build lasting relationships with customers by suggesting new merchandise and invite them to upcoming events Work as a team player with management and other associates to ensure each customer receives the best service possible Perform daily department maintenance tasks including stock work, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, steaming and light cleaning Other duties as assigned/required Qualifications Proven sales ability Positive attitude towards all tasks Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about fashion Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes Strong organizational and follow-through skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative MUST have weekend availability Benefits Vendors offer clothing discounts; either at cost or below Clothing Allowance based on hours worked Discount on clothing Working in one of the most beautiful areas in the country http://abcnews.go.com/Travel/best_places_USA/sleeping-bear-dunes-michigan-voted-good-morning-americas/story?id=14319616
