Cloud Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 6+ years of software development experience
• Hands-on experience working in complex architectural designs and technology initiatives
• Passion for technology and can stay on top of the newest technology trends
• Highly motivated team player with strong communication, and organization skills
• Experience working in agile development environment
• Hands-on experience in Test Driven Development
• Deep experience implementing solutions using the following technologies
• Nice to have experience implementing solutions using the following technologies Experience with:
• Application development on Public Cloud - AWS Managed Services, ECS, EC2, EKS, Serverless Framework/Lambda, API Gateway, Step Function, S3, ALB, Route53
• Front/back-end JS framework for Web Development such as Angular, NodeJS, Express Containerization technology like Docker (deployed on

ECS, EKS

)

REST API

development leveraging Java, Javascript, Python, Bash, SpringBoot

• Working knowledge with

Database:

Oracle, RDS, NoSQL Database

• Repository Management - Github/Bitbucket
• Support tools like Splunk/Datadog/Kibana The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
