Summary In a highly competitive health and wellness industry, WellWay is seeking a passionate, service-driven Club Manager to support the daily operations and leadership of our Cape Coral location. This role is critical to delivering an extraordinary experience for members, team members, and guests while supporting operational excellence across key departments. The Club Manager is a highly visible, hands-on leader who spends the majority of their time supporting the Member Services team at the front desk while overseeing WellWay Kids, Aquatics, and Housekeeping. The AGM partners closely with the General Manager and Director of Experience to ensure teams are supported, standards are upheld, and the WellWay model of care is consistently executed.
Responsibilities:
Provide an extraordinary experience for team members, members, and guests in a fast-paced, service-focused environment Maintain a consistent leadership presence at the Member Services desk, spending approximately one third of working time "in the zone" supporting MSCs and member engagement Coach and support Member Services Coordinators in service behaviors, communication, scheduling support, and proactive member care Perform regular walk-throughs to ensure all assigned areas of the club are clean, operational, safe, and aligned with brand standards Oversee and support the daily operations of: Member Services Coordinators, WellWay Kids, Aquatics, & Housekeeping Conduct bi-weekly one-to-one meetings with department leaders to review performance, staffing, and operational needs Support staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and training for departments under care Assist with casting, development, and performance management of team members Resolve member and team member concerns promptly and professionally Maintain strong working knowledge of all club services, programs, and operational procedures Ensure departments operate within established standards and support budgetary guidelines Comply with and enforce all company policies, procedures, and initiatives Uphold all safety, loss prevention, and operational compliance standardsQualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience 3-5 years of experience in wellness, fitness, hospitality, or service-based environments 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role Proven ability to lead from the floor in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to coach, motivate, and support team members effectively Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends Ability to actively supervise a large-format facility Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds We offer competitive compensation, as well as benefits for full time employees.
