  • Key Responsibilities:
  • 1.
  • Collaborate on
Patient Care:
  • Actively engage in nursing reports upon starting your shift and establish CNA assignments to ensure optimal resident care. 2.
  • Prepare for
New Residents:
  • Make each new resident feel welcomed and comfortable by preparing their room and guiding them through their new environment, including the call bell system. 3.
  • Deliver Exceptional Personal Care:
  • Provide attentive assistance with daily dental, bathing, and grooming needs, guaranteeing each resident receives personalized care, including shaving for male residents as needed. 4.
  • Support Mobility and Comfort:
  • Help residents with ambulation and transfers while ensuring their comfort and dignity are prioritized throughout their care. 5.
  • Ensure Wellness:
  • Conduct thorough skin care routines, monitor temperatures, collect necessary specimens, and accurately weigh residents to support their health assessments. 6.
  • Enhance Quality of Life:
  • Facilitate range of motion exercises and support residents in their daily activities, promoting mobility and physical well-being. 7.
  • Respond with
Compassion:
  • Be attentive to residents' calls and requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively, while communicating any concerns to the nursing team. 8.
  • Maintain a
Safe Environment:
  • Keep residents' surroundings clean, organized, and safe by making beds and managing personal items, contributing to a positive living space. 9.
  • Assist with
Meals:
  • Serve nutritious meals and provide support during dining, adhering to dietary guidelines and promoting an enjoyable eating experience. 10.
  • Accompany Residents with
Care:
  • Escort residents to appointments and outings, representing our facility with professionalism in uniform and wearing your ID badge. 11.
  • Monitor Care Equipment:
  • Keep a watchful eye on corrective/positioning appliances, reporting any changes in residents' conditions promptly to enhance their care. 12.
  • Document Accurately:
  • Record all care provided with precision, ensuring all entries are completed and any resident grievances are reported to the nursing staff. 13.
  • Commit to

  • Participate in all required training sessions and adhere strictly to facility policies, including those regarding restraints and cell phone usage.
