Job Description:

We are seeking an empathetic and reliable CNA who has a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and services to meet the personal care needs of our clients.

Meets state-specific certification requirements and possesses unrestricted certification as a CNA. At least six months of work experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting. Current CPR as required by client facility; other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies. Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Complies with CareBuilders at Home policies/procedures. Complies with client facility nursing policies/procedures. Maintains confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel. Documents patient care as assigned in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Follows the patient's assigned plan of care. Delivers personal care services to patients as assigned. Records patient input and output as assigned. Maintains competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state-specific requirements. Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved. Performs other duties as assigned. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may vary by assignment.
