• Certified Nursing Assistant The Cottages at Garden Grove is looking for motivated Certified Nursing Assistants to join a great team in our person centered home environment.

The Cottages at Garden Grove is set on a lovely campus in Cicero, NY and is made up of 12 small-home residences. This model of small-homes sets a new standard for skilled nursing and short-term rehab in CNY. These homes come complete with a sense of neighborhood and welcoming atmosphere that will make everyone who resides and works here feel at home. We are currently accepting applications for Evening and Night Shifts.

Tasks:

Assist residents with performing basic tasks such as eating, dressing and toileting when necessary Respond immediately to calls from patients for assistance or treatment and alert medical staff to pending emergency situations Assist in scheduled activities for residents Engage in housekeeping tasks such as replacing linens on beds, cleaning patient rooms and removing and replacing trash bags Assist in meal preparation for residents

Skills and Requirements:

Valid CNA certification Experience in long term care or short term rehabilitation preferred Excellent interpersonal communication skills Ability to work as a valuable part of a team
