Senatobia Healthcare & Rehab has been owned and operated since 1978 by the same founding family members. The facility offers short term skilled rehabilitation services including physical, speech and occupational therapy, as well as long term care. This is accomplished in a comfortable, homelike environment where our residents, families and staff are able to experience a family type atmosphere. Senatobia Healthcare & Rehab is currently recruiting for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) at our long term care facility in Senatobia, Mississippi, for the Evening shift from 3p to 11p. This is a 4-on 2-off rotation.

Description of duties:

Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, back rubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths. Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals. Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor. Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

Job Requirements:

Absolutely must exhibit a caring, professional, and warm personality to communicate with others. Valid and Current Mississippi CNA License Ability to Multi-Task Geriatric Experience (preferred but not required) Minimum 1 year experience (preferred but not required) Salary is dependent on experience.
