CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Thomaston, Griffin, Senoia, Zebulon,Barnesville,Molena)

•We have a female client in Thomaston 7a7p & 7p7a Ongoing 7 days a week . We are looking for CNAs specifically for her. She has a small Dog, lives with her husband. Her specific plan is below. She has a colostomy bag. Please apply if you are interested. 1. Repositioned in bed every 2 hours to prevent skin irritation and skin breakdown, use pillow or wedges to reposition her (left, back, righted…) 2. Her heels need to be floated off the bed to prevent breakdown on her heels. Bunny boots can be used as well but her feet need to be floated and repositioned every 2 hours as well. 3. Brief needs to be checked and or changed if soiled, every 2-4 hours to ensure proper peri-care is provided. Catheter does continue to leaks intermittently and urine and other bodily fluids need to be cleaned from the skin to prevent skin irritation and breakdown. 4. For areas of concern on the skin, zinc should be light coated onto the area after irritated area has been cleaned and patted dry. 5. Silicone Bandages should be hanged every 3-4 days unless soiled or dislodged. This is a preventative measure in place to reduce risk of skin breakdown. 6. Moisturize skin to reduce dryness and itching. Monitor and redirect her if she starts to scratch st her skin to reduce the skin irritation. 7. The colostomy bag needs to be checked, burped, and emptied every 2 hours starting at the time of arrival and emptied for the last time prior to end of shift. This will help ensure the colostomy bag does not over the inflate from gas and stool, dislodge and ultimately cause stool to leak from under the adhesive 8. The foley catheter should be checked and emptied approximately every 2hours starting at the time of arrival and emptied for the last time prior to end of shift.

Requirements :

Must be registered as a CNA on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry . Must have a current CPR certification. Must be able to drive yourself and provide a copy of your driver's license. >Also, able to provide a copy of your car insurance card. Must pass background check . Must be willing to travel a minimum of 15 miles from your place of residence. Must be able to use a smartphone app to review, accept/reject, clock-in and clock-out of shifts.

Preferences Preferred :

Comfortable working in a household with pets . Able to work with a Hoyer lift . Comfortable working with end-of-life patients .

Compensation :

Pay is $15-16/hr for hourly shifts. $220/day for live-ins.
