  • Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA II (Certified Nursing Assistant II) to join our dynamic healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your expertise will support patient comfort, safety, and well-being while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques Provide specialized care for patients with memory impairments or behavioral health conditions, including dementia and Alzheimer's care Perform catheter care, wound dressing changes, tube feeding, and other clinical tasks aligned with your skill level and training Assist with patient transfers using appropriate equipment while maintaining safety protocols in acute care or long-term settings Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare standards across all patient interactions Skills Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, outpatient clinics, or home & community care settings Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and infection control practices including aseptic technique Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate documentation Experience caring for patients with complex needs such as ICU or Level II trauma center experience; familiarity with specialty areas like pediatric (PICU), behavioral health, hospice or sub-acute care is a plus Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) certification and handle emergency situations confidently in urgent or emergency medicine environments Skilled in working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges across various age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics Knowledge of medication administration procedures along with proficiency in vital signs measurement and patient service techniques Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
