We are currently seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our friendly RehabLiving at The Meadows team. As a CNA , you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their stay. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment that values empathy, teamwork, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff. Help patients move safely around the facility, including transfers and ambulation. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by following infection control protocols. Assist nursing staff with medical equipment and patient care tasks as directed. Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in medical records. Must be a Certified Nurse Aide or currently enrolled in a Certified Nurse Aide program (completed first 16 hours of coursework). Ability to complete the Certified Nurse Aide program within four months of hire and maintain certification without lapse. Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it within three months of hire. Prior clinical experience is preferred. Strong assessment and observation skills with effective communication abilities. Must possess good physical and mental health. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and team members. Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and moving patients. Basic knowledge of infection control and patient safety procedures. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
