Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Female CNA/Medication Technician to join our team at Ohana Recovery! In this role, you will provide direct support and care to clients in a residential detox setting, including supervising clients, assisting with daily needs, completing client intakes, maintaining accurate shift documentation, transporting clients to appointments or outings, and administering medications in accordance with facility policies. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping individuals in recovery. Candidates should have an active CNA and/or Med Tech certification, experience working in healthcare or behavioral health settings, familiarity with EHR systems, and strong communication skills. Now hiring for graveyard shifts — weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities:
Facilitates client's daily activities including wake up, supervision, assistance with meal service, laundry, etc. Transports clients to and from necessary appointments and activities. Medication administration
  • Observes and monitors client behavior and intervenes as needed, based on individual client treatment plan, program schedule and house needs.
  • Facilitates assigned groups/meetings/activities per program schedule.
  • Coordinates treatment milieu with other counseling staff (via client record, staff communication, and treatment meetings).
Requirements:
  • California Driver's license with insurable DMV driving record.
  • Two (2) years of sobriety, if recovering.
  • Registered or certified as an alcohol drug counselor/technician.
  • Experience working in detox/residential treatment settings.
  • Experience working in the field of addiction.
  • Knowledge of EHR preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to be thorough and accurate.
