CNC Lathe Machinist

Are you a precision-driven machinist who takes pride in every cut? We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Beltsville team. In this role, you won t just be pushing buttons you ll be the technical lead on multiple machines, responsible for everything from complex set-ups and program edits to mentoring the next generation of operators. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of technical drawings, we want to hear from you.

salary:

$27.5 - $30.25 per hourshift: Secondwork hours: 3 PM - 10

PMeducation:

High SchoolResponsibilities Perform set-ups and tool changes for multiple machines with different controls in order to execute a sequence of operations such as turn, drill, and bore a variety of metal components. Modify, edit, download, and upload programs in order to make multiple parts. Perform offset adjustments and utilize proper tooling, such as inserts and cutters, based on print specifications. Interpret technical drawings in accordance with standard shop practices. Train and mentor other operators. Perform other related duties as assigned.
