Job Type :

Full-time, direct hire opportunity As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will play an important role in a precision manufacturing environment producing high-quality components made from complex metals and polymers. This position is ideal for someone with prior CNC lathe experience who is comfortable working independently, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production goals in a fast-paced machine shop.

Responsibilities:

Perform complete setups on CNC Lathe machines, including tooling, offsets and program verification Interpret blueprints, job travelers, and technical drawings to ensure accurate machine setup Set tool heights, speeds and feeds to optimize performance and quality Make program edits and adjustments as needed to maintain tolerances and efficiency Work with live tooling Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of CNC Lathe setup experience required Strong knowledge of hands-on experience with life tooling Proven ability to perform full machine setups independently Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience making program edits at the machine Strong inspection skills using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
