CNC Machine Operator 2113 State Route 31, Port Byron, NY 13140 From $16 an hour - Full-time From $16 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The CNC Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality production standards are met. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, according to specifications. Interpret and read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining operations. Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality checks on finished products using GD&T principles. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment. Skills Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including lathes and milling machines. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T principles. Experience with calipers, measuring tools, and quality inspection techniques. Familiarity with CAM programming software is a plus. Ability to operate stamping presses and press brake machines effectively. Knowledge of materials handling procedures and safety protocols. Forklift certification is preferred but not required. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.
