Position summary o ensure alignment with manufacturing goals. Perform Equipment Evaluations and Documentation Conduct engineering design assessments and document findings, recommending design alterations to enhance quality and reliability. Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives Utilize lean and continuous improvement tools to increase equipment availability and capability across the plant. Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, operations, and supplier teams to ensure seamless integration of machining processes. Support Implementation of Advanced Technologies Contribute to the adoption of innovative machining solutions that improve efficiency and reduce operational risk. Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Basic level of relevant work experience required.

Additional Information:

Maintain flexibility in scheduling to support production needs, including weekend second-shift coverage. Weekend Night Shift 3 days per week, 12 hours per day (Sat-Mon, approx. 5 PM-5 AM) and occasional additional shifts as required. Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills while driving continuous improvement in machining processes. Interpret and apply 2D part drawings with an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). foundational knowledge of part machining and fixturing to support production requirements. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality, HSE, and Materials, to achieve plant goals and improvement initiatives. Lead and participate in safety investigations and improvement projects to ensure a safe working environment. Provide training and guidance to AMA's, interns/co-ops, or School-to-Work students to support skill development and team performance.
