CNC Machinist

Join the team at Fisher Hydraulics and help manufacture high-quality custom hydraulic cylinders in a fast-paced machining environment. Position Summary Fisher Hydraulics is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts that meet quality and production standards. Candidates should be safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and capable of working independently and as part of a team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measuring tools Monitor machine operation and make offsets or adjustments as needed Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized Load and unload materials and parts safely Troubleshoot machining or tooling issues Follow all safety procedures and company policies Work collaboratively with supervisors, programmers, and production staff to meet deadlines Qualifications Previous CNC machining experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and quality Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Experience Experience with CNC lathes, mills, or both Knowledge of machine offsets Experience machining steel and hydraulic cylinder components Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Stable, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Schedule Full-time position Monday-Thursday Overtime on Friday and Saturday as needed
