The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of machining operations, be able to set up CNC Mills with minimal supervision, and ensure efficient production of high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and run CNC Mills (Vertical and Horizontal) for production runs according to blueprints and work specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T , and manufacturing specifications. Select and install proper tooling, fixtures, and materials required for each job. Perform machine offsets , edits to programs, and first-article inspections. Monitor and adjust machining operation per machine to ensure parts meet quality standards . Perform routine in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Troubleshoot basic set-up or machining issues and make appropriate adjustments. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards. Communicate effectively with your superiors and quality personnel regarding production issues. Read and document setup sheets, tooling changes, and inspection results as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required, Technical certificate or Associate's degree preferred. Ability to setup, run and troubleshoot first runs . Ability to run in fast paced environment . 3-5 years of experience in machining, with emphasis on operating Mills. Proficient in CNC machine operation and basic G-code understanding. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of cutting tools, materials, and precision measuring instruments . Basic understanding of cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling applications . Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time . Proven ability to take a single part from concept to finished product. Must be self-driven and have good communication skills . Familiarity with

ISO 9001 / AS9100

procedures.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with multiple controls ( Fanuc and Haas). Basic program editing skills at the machine control.(G Codes) Understanding Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement environments.
