CNC Machinist

Job Description Position Title:

CNC Machinist Wage:

CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate and set up CNC Mazak mills and lathes.
• Perform conversational programming and edit programs as needed.
• Work from raw stock through final production.
• Handle machine setup, tooling changes, and offsets.
• Produce precision parts for automotive and tubing industry customers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Run small batch and prototype orders, typically 1-10-piece jobs.
• Assist with larger production runs when required.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work with aluminum, steel, and some plastic materials.

CNC Machinist Requirements:

• CNC machining and setup experience required.
• Experience with Mazak equipment preferred.
• Conversational programming experience highly preferred.
• Ability to edit programs and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Stable work history and strong job tenure preferred.
• Technical education or machining certifications are a plus.
