Are you an expert CNC Machinist looking for your next challenge? Randstad is seeking a Machinist III for a premier manufacturing partner in Wyoming. This isn t just an operator role; we are looking for a technical leader capable of performing complex set-ups, proofing first-article programs, and partnering directly with Engineering to optimize production. Your Day-to-Day Impact:
Precision Execution:
Perform complex set-ups and operate CNC machines (up to 4+1 axis) to produce high-tolerance parts.Technical Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot machine issues, edit programs to eliminate errors, and perform root-cause analysis on non-conformances.NPI & Engineering Collaboration:
Partner with Engineering for New Product Introduction (NPI) and program optimization.Quality Mastery:
Conduct in-process inspections using advanced gaging, CMM, and blueprint reading (GD&T expertise required).Leadership:
Act as a mentor/trainer for junior machinists, evaluating progress and assisting in development plans.Efficiency:
Manage multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining 5S standards and Lean initiatives.salary:

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of CNC Machining experience (Aerospace or medical grade precision preferred).Technical Skills:
Advanced offset/work coordinate adjustments, 4+1 axis operation, and mastery of GD&T.Materials Knowledge:
Proven experience working with Aluminum, Titanium, Stainless, and Exotics.Math Proficiency:
Solid understanding of Trigonometry and Geometry.Communication:
Fluent in English with the ability to act as a liaison between Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance.Compliance:
Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR regulations.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods (75%-100% of the shift). Capability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs of force. Comfortable working in a machine shop environment (approx. 91 decibels) with exposure to oils, solvents, and mechanical hazards.Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in CNC Machine Technology or a related field. Experience with CMM operation and root cause analysis tools.
