Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist (Mill) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining, blueprint reading, and technical troubleshooting will be essential to ensure efficient production processes. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and program CNC milling machines using CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks and other CNC programming tools. Interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce accurate parts. Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to optimize machine performance. Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining operations while adhering to safety standards and quality protocols. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts meet specifications before final assembly or delivery. Collaborate with team members on lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity. Experience Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, particularly with Fanuc controls or similar systems. Strong background in CNC programming, including G-code editing and CAM programming techniques. Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical drawings essential for precise machining. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills necessary for setting up machines accurately. Experience working with a variety of tools such as hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and tooling setups. Ability to work safely with manufacturing equipment like CNC lathes, CNC mills, forklifts, and coordinate measuring machines in a fast-paced environment.
