Weekend Shift FridaySunday | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) Job Summary Fierce Firearms LLC is seeking a highly experienced CNC Machine Operator / CNC Lead to oversee weekend manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on CNC machinist role with leadership responsibility, serving as the primary point of contact for CNC production, quality, and safety during weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (CNC mills and/or CNC lathes) Manufacture precision firearm components to print and tolerance Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and CNC work instructions Perform tool changes, tool offsets, and minor CNC program adjustments Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Troubleshoot CNC machining, tooling, and process issues Perform routine CNC machine checks and basic maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment Lead and coordinate weekend CNC production operations Support and guide CNC operators and machinists on shift Communicate production status, quality issues, and material needs to weekday leadership Ensure all CNC safety, quality, and production standards are met Qualifications 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment Experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Operator, or CNC Lead Proficiency with CNC mills and/or lathes (Haas CNC experience preferred) Strong ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T Skilled with precision inspection and measurement tools Previous lead, shift lead, or supervisory experience preferred Self-directed and capable of working independently on weekend shifts Strong attention to detail and reliability Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Experience Firearms manufacturing, aerospace machining, or other tight-tolerance CNC machining High-mix, low-volume CNC production environments Strong problem-solving and communication skills Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on CNC experience and skill level Potential weekend shift differential Benefits available (details discussed during interview) recblid s2728pqvjhm7v16ctsrbzxtt7lmpui
