Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC programs to ensure precision machining of components. Your expertise will directly contribute to the production of high-quality parts, utilizing advanced machining techniques and software. Responsibilities Develop and write CNC programs for HAAS machines and Doosan Lathes using software such as Fusion360. Set up CNC machines by selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and calibration tools like bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, etc. Optimize machining processes by applying lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. Conduct toolpath verification and simulation to prevent errors before actual machining begins; troubleshoot issues during production runs. Collaborate with other programmers/machinists engineers Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, tooling configurations, and process parameters for quality control and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Proven experience programming CNC machines such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with CNC programming languages including Fanuc controls; familiarity with other controls is a plus. Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software like Fusion360 or MasterCam Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently during production runs.
