CNC Programmer

Job Summary:

Excelco/Newbrook is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer with a strong background in machining to join our innovative team. As a CNC Programmer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by translating designs into precision-machined components. If you have CNC programming experience with CamWorks and proficiency in 3D modeling using SolidWorks, we want to hear from you. Your ability to create and follow systems, communicate effectively with machine operators, and define setups accurately will be essential to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize CamWorks software to program CNC machines for the efficient production of components. Create and maintain detailed 3D models using SolidWorks for machining purposes. Develop and follow systematic processes, specifications, and job orders to ensure accurate and consistent production. Communicate effectively with machine operators on the shop floor to convey information and instructions clearly. Define precise methods for part, machine, tooling, and fixture setups to optimize production efficiency. Read and thoroughly understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) on engineering drawings.

Requirements:

Proven experience in CNC programming, with proficiency in CamWorks software. Strong 3D modeling skills using SolidWorks or similar software. Demonstrated ability to create and maintain systems, specifications, and Work instructions. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with machine operators. A keen eye for detail and the ability to define precise setups. Proficiency in reading and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) on engineering drawings.
