Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Technician, where your expertise will drive precision and efficiency in our machining operations. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. Your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail will ensure that production runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions:
Set up and operate CNC machines (such as mills and lathes) to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications; Select and install cutting tools, attachments, and accessories, and adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance and product quality; Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications; Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on CNC equipment to minimize downtime and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues; Monitor machine operations, make adjustments, and suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste; Participates in maintaining established inventory of materials and tooling requirements; Performs and completes setup sheets and documents process control for each setup; Performs floor work/material handling duties; Works with co-workers in a safe, professional, and cooperative manner; Maintains good attendance, flexibility in job assignments, adaptable to changing business needs, and continually learns and applies new skills; Meets minimum physical/mental demands with or without reasonable accommodation; Complies with all company policies and procedures; Trains others on knowledge and skills mastered; Other duties as assigned.
Pre-Requisites/Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma, technical training or an associate degree, proven experience operating and programming CNC machines, strong skills in reading blueprints and technical drawings, knowledge of G-code and CAD/CAM software, excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and proficiency with precision measurement tools. Key soft skills like communication, teamwork, and adaptability are also highly valued.
