Clarificion from the agency Open to members of the Colorado Air Nional Guard in the 140th OG. •Recruitment or Relocion Incentive available. Subject to availability of funds and must be approved by TAG. Duties Help Plans work to be accomplished by the organizion which consists of about 15 or more full-time subordines engaged in technical and administrive work. Oversees all unit operions activities, both in the air and on the ground, which based on unit mission and equipment, may include any of the following Air Operion6 program support functional areas: Training, Standardizion and Evaluion, Tactics. Scheduling, Plans, Command Post, Intelligence, Life Support, Flying Operions and Flight Management. Develops long-range training and deployment plans for the unit to meet training goals, higher headquarters Inspection schedules and overseas deployment requirements. Acts as a key advisor on the Commander's staff to coordine unit flying operions with other ANG flying units and outside agencies, e.g. the Federal Aviion Administrion (FAA), civilian airport authorities, etc., and with unit maintenance resources and support areas. Serves as the Operions representive on the Commander's Financial Management Board. Develops and directs the unit flying hour program in coordinion with higher headquarters to meet approved higher headquarters flying hour allocions. Oversees all unit flight and ground training of assigned/tached flying personnel. Monitors the implemention of an effective division safety program for all flying operions and reled ground activities. Develops division policy for flight management personnel to insure effective and efficient administrive control of all flight documention and Individual flight records. Must pass standardizion/evaluion flight examinions and meet annual flying requirements as prescribed by applicable regulions and directives. Performs other duties as assigned. Membership in the Colorado Air Nional Guard. Must hold the grade of O-4- thru O-5. Submit all required documention. For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. To be eligible for a relocion incentive, the employee must have an appraisal from the prior with th's a 3 or higher. Relocion Incentive is available for only current federal employees.
