Analyst (Acquisition and S&T) supporting United States Space Force (USSF) Combat Forces Command (CFC) Global Mission Operations (S35G) Division at Peterson SFB CO. CFC S35G
provides operational, policy and sourcing guidance to Air Staff, organizations, and subordinate units in support of the Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and Global Positioning System (GPS). GPS provides 24/7/365 space-based Positioning, Navigation, & Timing (PNT) in accordance with The Space-Based PNT Policy (SPD-7) to maintain GPS as the international gold standard for satellite navigation systems for 6+ billion military and civilian worldwide users. This position serves as the primary GPS Acquisition and Science & Technology (S&T) Analyst and supports current and future operations to deliver military and civilian PNT/GPS and Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) through executing the Combat Force Proponent-Fielding Process (CFP-FP), S&T processes, and the Threat Response Team (TRT). This is a full time position located in Building 1, Peterson SFB CO. •This position is contingent upon contract award•Responsibilities Primary Duty Responsibilities:
Develops and refines program plans, technology upgrades, and insertion to support SATNAV warfighter capabilities
Leads the development of emerging guidance and direction in the DoD, AF, USSF, and CFC NAVWAR/PNT/GPS
strategy
Provides critical technical contributions to CFC on NAVWAR/PNT/GPS
Enterprise acquisition and fielding progress through the execution of the CFP-FP
Serves as the subject matter expert for CFC S35G
in the Science and Technology (S&T) forum by executing the NAVWAR/PNT/GPS
Space Combat Technology Development process
Leads the technical assessment process for potential S&T projects, highlighting their advantages and limitations
Authors S&T briefings, white papers, memorandums, and other reporting and documentation methods for CFC S35G
Oversees the TRT process
Applies DoDI 5000.02 process awareness; recommends acquisition risk burn-down actions Qualifications Citizenship:

Top Secret/SCI Education:
Bachelor degree or higher Years of Experience:
Thirteen years or more of military/government experience. Four or more years in acquisition or S&T processes and functions. Recent NAVWAR/PNT/GPS
experience. Certifications:
NA Technical Skills Good communication skills, particularly professional writing and briefing
Microsoft product proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Interpersonal Skills Effective Communication
