We're a family-run breakfast and lunch restaurant focused on fresh, flavorful food and warm hospitality. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. This role is essential to keeping our kitchen running smoothly and ensuring every guest receives a delicious and satisfying meal. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and presentation standards Complete daily prep work for your assigned station, including chopping, portioning, and stocking ingredients Assist in menu development and seasonal specials, with attention to dietary needs and flavor Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space in compliance with food safety and health regulations Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure meals are served in a timely and coordinated manner Track inventory levels, report shortages, and help with ordering supplies as needed Minimize food waste through proper storage and portioning Assist with catering events and off-site orders when required Support in training new kitchen staff on kitchen procedures and food safety protocols Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred Understanding of food handling procedures, health codes, and kitchen safety Ability to prepare a variety of dishes, including breakfast items, comfort food, and specials Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Organizational skills and time management, especially during high-volume service Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards A passion for cooking and pride in your work Spanish-speaking applicants are highly encouraged to apply Join Our Team Be a part of Home Kitchen's growing team in Round Rock, TX.
