Job Type:

Part-time Join the Community Skills Program (a division of Success Rehabilitation, Inc.) and help adults with neurological challenges regain their independence. We are currently hiring a Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapist to serve clients across Pike County, PA (Stroudsburg, Milford, Hawley) and Sussex County, NJ (Stanhope and surrounding areas). About the Role This is a community-based position for a self-starter who excels at clinical problem-solving. Working directly in the client's home and local community, you will strengthen:

Cognitive Foundations:

Attention and memory.

Executive Functioning:

Planning and judgment.

Self-Regulation:

Behavioral patterns and impulse control. Methodology Establish or reinforce learned behaviors. Develop compensatory mechanisms for cognitive impairments. Facilitate safe and appropriate community interaction.

Key Responsibilities Direct Service:

Conduct cognitive rehabilitation sessions in home/community settings.

Goal Tracking:

Establish specific, measurable goals that promote independence.

Documentation:

Complete assessments and progress notes timely.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Client Services Liaison and treatment team.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.

Certification:

CBIS preferred.

Experience:

1+ year experience with TBI or intellectual disabilities.

Skills:

Strong analytic, written, and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:
