,POSITION SUMMARY

The Colleague Registration and Records Consultant works in partnership with colleges & universities on their ERP needs, specific to Ellucian Colleague Student/Reg and Records, within scope and budget agreed with client. The Consultant roles report up through professional services, specifically working under a Director and ultimately an AVP of Professional Services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ellucian Colleague Registration and Records modules, including student registration, academic history, transcript processing, curriculum management, degree audit support, and enrollment-related functionalities.
  • Strong understanding of higher education Registrar's and Advising Offices business processes, including registration processing, records management, graduation clearance, transfer credit evaluation, academic standing, and student enrollment services.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements impacting higher education student registrations and enrollments, including FERPA compliance, academic policies, residency requirements, and federal/state reporting standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex system issues.
  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex system and process challenges independently.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training for end-users.
  • Experience developing and optimizing process workflows within Ellucian Colleague to support Registration, Records, Advising, curriculum management, student lifecycle processing, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and present information to various stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on Registration and Records IT experience in the higher education setting.
  • Higher education consulting experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel when required for client or internal business.
