Collections Assistant

What You'll Do You'll play a critical role in protecting the bank while helping customers navigate tough financial situations Work directly with customers to establish repayment plans on delinquent or charged-off loans Contact past-due accounts and negotiate solutions that work for both the client and the bank Monitor repayment plans and take action when terms aren't met Assist in managing charged-off accounts, judgments, foreclosures and recovery strategies Prepare reports and updates for management on collection performance and account status Help manage repossessed assets and OREO (Other Real Estate Owned), including liquidation strategies What You Bring Experience in collections, banking, lending, repossession required Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage sensitive conversations with confidence and empathy Detail-oriented with strong organizational and tracking skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Apply today through indeed to connect with our HR team.
