Responsibilities:

• Locate and monitor overdue accounts; contact customers via phone, mail, or in person to collect delinquent payments
• Receive payments and post amounts accurately to customer accounts while maintaining detailed records
• Confer with customers to determine reasons for overdue payments and negotiate repayment solutions or schedules
• Prepare statements and documentation for credit department when accounts remain unresolved

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of financial services, collections, or customer service experience required
• Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills, along with negotiation and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate documentation
• Knowledge of collections regulations, policies, and experience with Microsoft Word or collections software preferred
