JOB SUMMARY

Assists, instructs, and supervises members of the BHS Color Guard in preparation for Band performances and competitions.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Color Guard experience preferred Organizational skills Good verbal and written communication skills Neat, responsible, punctual, dependable Be sensitive to needs of students and be able to relate well with students and staff

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Follow all rules and regulations set forth by band director and the district Attend and assist with Color Guard tryouts Attend and assist with Color Guard Camp Attend and assist with Band Camp Attend and assist with all Friday games and playoff games Attend and assist with weekend competitions and Buhler Frolic

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

May include prolonged sitting or standing; physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials, stooping, bending and reaching. Exposed to a variety of weather conditions while supervising practice, games, and competitions. Requires regular attendance and physical presence at the job.
