Commercial Cleaner

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of two University of Minnesota facilities in Rosemount. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial or custodial experience who take pride in their work. There are two facilities that this job will service. The main facility requires 2.5 hours of cleaning once per week on the weekend at $22 per hour. The second facility which is close by requires 3 additional hours of cleaning once per month at $20 per hour. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping mopping to maintain pristine surfaces. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are well-equipped Handle waste disposal and recycling processes following environmental service standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly We use environmentally friendly cleaning products whenever possible to promote sustainability. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures. Knowledge of safety protocols related to the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning routines. Requirements The applicant must have a car or reliable transportation to get to and from the job sites.
