(Department of Transportation) regulations Flatbed Full Job Description Job Summary looking for a experienced driver to haul steel within Michigan Must have experience Must have clean record must be able to work nights Typical hours are midnight to morning, home daily Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, including flatbed, Load and unload cargo efficiently Secure loads properly on flatbeds to prevent shifting or damage during transit Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Plan and follow optimized route driving schedules, maintaining punctuality and safety standards Deliver freight to various locations, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to delivery instructions Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes Skills Proven experience in truck driving, especially with flatbed, refrigerated trailers, tankers, or similar commercial vehicles Strong knowledge of load securement techniques for flatbed freight and refrigerated cargo handling Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely Familiarity with route planning, delivery procedures, and traffic regulations across different regions Skilled in load & unload operations Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Join us as a CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver and be part of a team that values energetic professionals committed to safe driving practices.
