Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary Deliver freight accurately along designated routes while maintaining schedules and customer satisfaction Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards Manage documentation related to deliveries, including logs, delivery receipts, and inspection reports Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or other specialized trailers to prevent shifting during transit Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during trips Skills Valid CDL A license with experience operating manual transmission vehicles Proven truck driving experience with knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklift equipment is highly desirable Strong understanding of load & unload procedures for various freight types Ability to handle multiple types of freight safely and securely during transport Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving habits and adherence to regulations Physical capability to load/unload freight manually or using equipment like forklifts when required Join us in delivering excellence on the road!
