We do local and long haul. Home on weekends and usually home a few nights per week. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks. Your expertise in driving and load management is required to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. We are committed to supporting your growth and providing a rewarding environment where your driving skills make a real impact. Pay is based on commission. Your commission is calculated from 100% of the trucks revenue. We do not withhold a fuel surcharge! Flatbed rates are at an all time high. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently ensuring cargo integrity and proper handling Plan optimal routes for delivery schedules, maintaining communication with dispatchers for updates or changes Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless load & unload processes and ensure freight is secured properly for transport Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license and familiarity with manual transmission vehicles Experience operating various truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Strong knowledge of route planning, load securing techniques, and safety procedures for commercial driving Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods while following safety protocols Excellent driving record with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence Physical ability to handle freight handling equipment like forklifts when necessary and perform vehicle inspections Good communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers and warehouse personnel effectively Embark on an energetic career path where your driving expertise fuels our success!
