Commercial Drivers License Driver

Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and equipment to deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to our clients and job sites. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure efficient, timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers with manual transmissions. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring secure transport. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Drive responsibly across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge of trucks and lifting equipment. Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and documentation for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy trucks and specialized equipment. Proven experience in commercial driving, including delivery driver roles involving heavy lifting and load handling. Familiarity with operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is highly preferred. Knowledge of load securing techniques for safe transportation of various materials. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and manual loading/unloading.
