Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools like schematics and test instruments; perform repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. Work on construction sites performing wiring, conduit installation, panel setups, and renovations with a focus on safety protocols. Collaborate with project managers and other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman teams to coordinate tasks effectively. Follow all safety guidelines related to low voltage, high voltage, and NEC regulations; maintain a clean and organized work environment. Skills Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical layouts. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks within commercial environments. Experience working on construction sites with an emphasis on safety standards and building codes. Ability to handle low voltage and high voltage systems safely while adhering to NEC regulations. Handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are advantageous for versatile project support. Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
