Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Garage Door Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of garage doors and related components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or mechanical work, with the ability to adapt to custom commercial design requests.

Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal functionality of garage door systems. Troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs on-site. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations and repairs. Read and interpret schematics to assist in the installation process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Skills Install, service and repair commercial garage doors, automatic openers and gate applications. Diagnose mechanical and low voltage electrical issues and perform repairs. Ability to fabricate components as needed for custom installations. Strong understanding of safety protocols when handling tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Capability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently. Familiarity with reading schematics to guide installations.
