Commercial HVAC Service Technician

B-G Mechanical , an Equans company, is a commercial and industrial HVAC contractor serving facilities throughout Massachusetts. We specialize in service, maintenance, and retrofit projects for office buildings, manufacturing plants, schools, and healthcare facilities. Our team takes pride in doing things the right way — safely, efficiently, and professionally. We're looking for a Licensed HVAC Service Technician with strong commercial experience to join our growing service department.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, VAV systems, chillers, boilers, split systems, and controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance, seasonal startups/shutdowns, and system troubleshooting.
• Accurately document service work using company software.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, coordinators, and customers.
• Follow company safety policies and state code requirements.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License required.
• Minimum 5 years commercial HVAC service experience (industrial experience a plus).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
