We are a locally owned independent insurance agency seeking a professional, motivated, and friendly individual to join our team full-time, in-office, as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent. We're looking for people first professionals who know how to build trust, handle tough conversations, and deliver outstanding service. Overview As a Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent, you'll be a key point of contact for our commercial clients—supporting policy service needs, answering coverage and billing questions, and helping ensure each client feels informed and taken care of. Whether you're responding to a quick question or coordinating a more complex request, your goal is simple: deliver a smooth, professional, and reassuring experience every time. A current Property & Casualty license is required. Compensation will be based on relevant insurance experience. You'll be a great fit if you bring 1-3+ years of insurance customer service experience , communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy staying organized while supporting multiple clients and priorities. Duties Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring all interactions are handled with care and attention. Educate clients on services and best practices. Manage customer accounts, including updates and changes as needed. Troubleshoot basic issues or escalate when necessary. Handle outbound calling for follow-ups or promotional activities while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Document all customer interactions in the system accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery. Maintain a high level of phone etiquette while adhering to company policies and procedures. Requirements
  • Active Wisconsin Property & Casualty license required.
  • Prior experience in insurance customer support and/or insurance sales.
  • Professional, confident phone presence with the ability to explain information clearly and handle sensitive conversations with care.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through; able to track requests, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable navigating multiple systems (agency management systems, carrier portals, email, and Microsoft Office tools); able to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong typing and data-entry skills to document customer interactions thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Positive attitude with sound judgment—able to troubleshoot routine issues and escalate appropriately when needed.
  • This role is performed in our Brandon office.

Pay:
$42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
