Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Connecticut , with a focus on Painting, Coating, and Historical Restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing project success, managing schedules, and ensuring quality standards are met on projects involving paintings and coatings, as well as historic building restorations.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee daily activities on multiple job sites, ensuring projects run efficiently and according to schedule. Manage and supervise labor force, including monitoring labor hours, performance, and safety protocols. Maintain high-quality standards for coatings and restoration work, ensuring all tasks meet customer expectations. Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to keep projects on track. Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Provide regular updates and reports to customers, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Schedule and plan daily activities with site superintendents, ensuring necessary materials and equipment are on-site as required. Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with project specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting safety and productivity.
Preferred Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Project Manager, especially in painting, coating, and historical restoration projects. Strong knowledge of coatings applications, materials, and techniques. Experience with historic building restoration and preservation practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and interact with clients. Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. OSHA certification and safety training preferred. Familiarity with construction scheduling software and tools.
