Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated

COMMERCIAL PLUMBING TECHNICIAN

to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial construction and spaces. You will have the opportunity to learn valuable technical skills while following local building codes and safety regulations. This role involves working on various plumbing projects, from installation to maintenance, ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards. The Commercial Plumbing Technician will be responsible for assisting in assembling and building plumbing systems, utilizing hand tools, and applying basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE 1-3 YEARS OF HANDS-ON COMMERCIAL PLUMBING EXPERIENCE.

Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, replace, and install various commercial plumbing systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications. Conduct pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks to ensure secure connections and compliance with safety standards. Lift heavy materials safely during construction or renovation activities while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure plumbing work aligns with project timelines and specifications. Install cast iron and PVC Waste and Vent piping systems Install copper water piping (sweat and propress) Qualifications

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE 3 YEARS HANDS ON PLUMBING EXPERIENCE

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing or related fields. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to plumbing tasks. Ability to perform pipe threading and other plumbing techniques accurately. Strong basic math skills in measurement, calculation, and project planning. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
