We work with HOAs, resorts, apartment communities, fitness facilities, and commercial aquatic properties. We utilize digital service reporting, automated chemical controller systems, remote monitoring technology, and proactive maintenance practices to help clients maintain safe and compliant aquatic facilities. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and mechanically inclined Commercial Pool Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves servicing commercial swimming pools, performing water chemistry adjustments, inspecting and troubleshooting equipment, maintaining clean aquatic facilities, and communicating professionally with property managers and clients. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather conditions, and capable of representing Florida Aqua Group professionally in high-traffic commercial environments. Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform commercial pool cleaning and maintenance
  • Test and adjust pool water chemistry
  • Vacuum, skim, brush, and maintain pool/spa facilities
  • Inspect pumps, filters, chemical controllers, ORP/pH systems, chemical feed equipment, and circulation systems
  • Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns
  • Maintain accurate digital service reports and photos
  • Handle and transport pool chemicals safely
  • Clean filter systems and maintain equipment areas
  • Respond professionally to client requests and on-site concerns
  • Assist with installations, repairs, and controller maintenance when needed
  • Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and organization
  • Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial or residential pool experience
  • CPO Certification (Certified Pool Operator) preferred
  • Basic plumbing or electrical troubleshooting experience

  • Experience with sand, cartridge, and DE filter systems preferred
  • Basic hand tool knowledge preferred
  • Experience using mobile apps, route management, or digital reporting systems
  • Previous commercial property, hospitality, facility maintenance, landscaping, construction, or field service experience CPO Certification Support CPO Certification is preferred, but not required to apply.
For qualified team members who do not currently have a CPO Certification, Florida Aqua Group will cover the cost of approved CPO training and certification at no cost to the employee. New hires may begin with a training and evaluation period to ensure proper fit, safety, route performance, and service quality. Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver license with a clean driving record
  • No points on driver license preferred/required for company vehicle eligibility
  • Minimum of 2 years of field service, pool service, maintenance, landscaping, construction, or similar hands-on outdoor work experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working outdoors in Florida weather conditions preferred, including heat, humidity, rain, and year-round outdoor environments
  • Service route experience preferred, including managing multiple stops, staying on schedule, documenting completed work, and communicating route issues clearly
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Dependable attendance, punctuality, and ability to arrive to work on time and ready to begin the scheduled route
  • Reliable attendance is required. No-call/no-show behavior is not acceptable.
  • Ability to follow assigned schedules, service routes, and daily dispatch expectations

  • Ability to work independently and manage routes efficiently
  • Must be comfortable safely handling, transporting, and working around commercial pool chemicals, including chlorine and muriatic acid, while following all company safety procedures

  • Must be comfortable using a smartphone or mobile app for service reports, photos, route updates, and communication with management
  • This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying equipment, handling hoses, opening equipment rooms, and working outdoors for extended periods

Our technicians regularly work in high-visibility environments, including resorts, apartment communities, fitness centers, HOAs, and other commercial properties where residents, guests, property managers, and staff may be present throughout the day. Because our technicians are often working in customer-facing areas, professional appearance, personal grooming, cleanliness, and respectful communication are extremely important. Team members are expected to present themselves in a neat, organized, and professional manner while representing Florida Aqua Group on-site. Technicians must be courteous, approachable, and respectful when interacting with residents, guests, property staff, and management teams. Team members are expected to remain professional and respectful at all times, even when approached with questions, complaints, or concerns while on-site. This role requires someone who understands they are not only servicing a pool, but also representing the company in active community and guest-facing environments. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem solving, mechanical systems, working outdoors, and maintaining a professional presence in high-traffic commercial settings.
Compensation Pay range:

Higher starting pay may be available for applicants with CPO Certification, commercial pool service experience, service route experience, a clean driving record, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Entry-level or trainee candidates with the right attitude, reliability, and outdoor field experience may be considered at a lower starting rate with room for growth as training, performance, and route responsibility increase.
