About the Role
BBSI is hiring a Communication & Program Coordinator to support a mission-driven organization. Reporting to the President & CEO, this role manages publications, marketing, digital content, and event coordination—helping promote programs, events, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Communications & Publications
Manage editorial calendar and produce primary publication (11 issues/year)
Write, edit, and distribute newsletters and communications
Maintain website content
Programs & Events
Coordinate logistics for events (Annual Meeting, Awards Banquet, etc.)
Work with sponsors, vendors, and internal teams
Prepare promotional and post-event content
Support internal teams with meetings and documentation
Digital Marketing
Manage social media and web content calendars
Execute marketing campaigns
Track and report performance metrics
General Support
Assist with marketing strategy and vendor coordination
Provide administrative support to leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field preferred
2+ years in communications, marketing, or events
Strong writing, organization, and time management skills
Experience with social media, email marketing, and CMS
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license; light travel required
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and move throughout the workday
