REPORTS TO
(TITLE): Regional Business Development & Marketing Manager
EMPLOYEE PAY STATUS
Exempt
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Under the direction of the Regional Business Development & Marketing Manager responsible for the development of marketing strategies and the generation of referrals, the processing or inquiries and admissions, the development and maintaining of relationships with Managed Care organizations, and the development of new programs as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
:
  • Develops marketing strategies for Aliso Ridge Behavioral Health, LLC.
  • Research and identify appropriate partnerships that will lead to long term sustainable relationships.
  • Create and implement an annual outreach plan.
  • Develops new and maintains existing contractual relationships with Managed Care Organizations, EAP's and other contractual third-party payers and referral agencies.
  • Supervises and directs the development of brochures and media presentations.
  • Develops new program ideas for discussion and consideration and implements approved new programs, as assigned.
  • Visits and meets with current and potential referral sources to understand needs and identify areas of improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Licensing:
  • High School Diploma required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Behavioral Health and/or Hospital background required with a minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing and/or administration.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Maintains a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with physicians, departments and staff.
  • Maintains client confidentiality and protects client privacy according to HIPPA regulations.
  • Actively develops new strategies to improve marketing of the hospital and services.
  • Demonstrates an ability to communicate effectively and express ideas clearly; actively listens, follows appropriate channels of communication.
  • Conducts biweekly business development meeting and strategy meetings to develop and discuss services with business development staff.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and protects patient privacy within health care setting in accordance with the Patient's Bill of Rights and established policy.
Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, this position is frequently required to do the following:
  • Use standard office equipment and access, input, and retrieve information from a computer. Use computer keyboard with manual and finger dexterity and wrist-finger speed sufficient to perform repetitive actions efficiently for extended periods of time.
  • Communicate effectively in person or via telephone in a manner which can be understood by those with whom the person is speaking, including a diverse population.
  • Give and follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Perform complex mental functions and basic arithmetic functions; interpret complex laws, regulations, and policies; collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information.
Vision:
see details of objects at close range.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Reach forward, up, down, and to the side.
  • Sit or stand for minimum periods of one hour at a time and come and go from the work area repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Lift up to fifteen (15) pounds.
